Home Sweet Home

I've been spending a lot of time indoors at home sweet home this summer. This is likely not the best way to keep my heart in good shape. So today, I pushed myself through a long-ish for me walk. It was good. I wore my headphones and not too much clothing, and listened to good music. The bugs and cars didn't bother me too much.

In other news, I haven't played Semantle or Wordle for quite a while. I'm just not feeling it. I have been relaxing and gardening and spending time with Diana & Snow (usually not at the same time!) I have been thinking a lot. I have been trying to take good care of myself, but how to do that changes, and I always have to be on alert for things that need to change for me to be OK.

I recently finished reading The Midnight Library by Matt Haig. It was a pretty good book, but also preachy, and that keeps me from recommending it to anyone. Some people really hate preachy style books.

I started season 3 of Atypical today. EVERY episode still makes me cry. There is so much there, in all the plot lines, and it makes me think. It influences me to be a better person, less judgmental, even though I generally don't think of myself as overly judgmental. Also, for me, it is good autistic representation.
