Lately I've been spending a bit of time every day tending the bird feeders, plus sitting outside with the binoculars, moving around the house, searching, searching, searching, hence the first fact below!
Birds I saw today: Northern cardinal, red-eyed vireo, ovenbird, American goldfinch, American redstart, American robin, indigo bunting, purple finch, house wren, chipping sparrow, brown-headed cowbird (male & female) and likely others
Insects I saw today: Mosquito, ant, carpenter bee, crane fly (likely others)
Mammals I saw today: Easter grey squirrel, human, Eastern chipmunk (hope to see a rabbit soon)
