Movement & Art

This week I have been more physical than I have in a really, really, really long time. I have mowed the yard 3 times. (Our yard is about 4 times the size of a "normal" yard so it takes 4 days to get it done, so I did 3/4 of it, which is equivalent to mowing three typical yards. I also went to the zoo and walked the entire circuit. I have also done my full CARs routine 4 times. I'm handling this very, very well. My conclusion is that my fitness level, specifically my exercise tolerance, is improving.

In other news, Diana is doing this challenge thing that involves creating a body of artwork over a 6 month period. I am thinking of joining, but it is complicated, and I'd be coming in late. I hate feeling like I'm behind or not having the full period of time to get something done. First I thought, I'll definitely do it. Then I thought I definitely won't do it (that was after a lot of tears). Then I started having ideas of ways that I might be able to make it happen. This process is typical of how I work through all problems. We'll see if it is a go!

In today's smoothie: Water, tangerines, whole milk Greek yogurt, red & yellow bell pepper, and wild blackberries & grapes picked from our yard!

Birds I heard while drinking my smoothie: Northern cardinal, tufted titmouse, black-capped chickadee, gray catbird, red-eyes vireo, song sparrow, white-breasted nuthatch, and ruby-throated hummingbird
