Happy Birthday Marti (A Day Early)

Tomorrow this lovely lady turns 75 years old. She is my dear partner Diana's mom, Marti! I'm posting this today, because I likely won't remember tomorrow. I wish her the best of birthdays! We are honoring her on Saturday with a party at the beach. I am so glad to know her, and have her as a member of my chosen family.

Last night was a late night. We went to Rochester to get Snow & JoAnn from the airport, and we didn't get into bed until after 11, very late for us! It is nice to have Snow home today, and I have enjoyed hearing all about her trip to NYC & RTX in Austin, Texas!

Today's big energy job is mowing section A of our yard. It is the biggest section but also the section with no real obstacles. I have a play list ready for listening to on Spotify, and I am drinking water. Wish me luck that I survive! (I'm pretty sure I will, but you never know!)

Other chores still to do today: Changing a lot of trash & recyclable bins

Birds I heard today: Mourning dove, American redstart, house wren (so noisy!), American robin, cedar waxwing, chipping sparrow (one of my favorite little cuties)

On the music machine: Crash Into Me by Dave Matthews Band
