Sunshining

Today, I baked peanut butter cookies and did a lot of chores. I also went on a 30 minutes walk in addition to my usual early morning walk. It has been a good day. It is sunny, and I do love a sunny day!

Tomorrow, our friends, Rob & Shelly, are visiting for dinner. I am going to make pasta with a red sauce & meatballs on the side, plus a salad. I am mostly looking forward to it. Right in this moment, life looks good. This weekend I plan on stopping at my dad's in addition to the usual weekend errands. Maybe, I'll also be helping Diana to make a vegetable garden out of a kiddie pool. That is very exciting to me!

In the area of research, I have been looking into the field of somatic psychology lately. I am mostly interested in the less structured methods of somatic therapy. In other words, not eye movement desensitization reprocessing therapy (EMDR) or Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), more therapists building relationships with clients and working with movement with minimal words, especially in nature. This type of healing really resonates with me. I am a healer at heart, but I often don't know in what direction to move. My intuition can be slow, and the number of people I reach is small.

On the dinner plate: Something from a restaurant in Fulton most likely, we will be doing laundry

On the lunch plate: Leftover pizza, pretzels dipped in sour creams, homemade peanut butter cookies

In the drinking cup: Polar orange-vanilla seltzer

Song in my head when I awoke: Money, Love & Death by Gnash
