Life! The ups, the downs, & the in betweens

So the car trying-out didn't go great - one car wasn't a good fit, and the other car basically wasn't available. I didn't handle the whole experience that well. I can see that it will not be easy to get a new car, and although there are plenty of used cars if you look, it might be hard to get one that we feel confident in. Regardless of what happens, the car really needs to last 10 to 12 years, ideally 15. We don't drive as far as we use to, but that could change at anytime. (For example, what if one of our kids moves farther away.)

The rest of the week feels like sort of a blur, but Diana shared good things with me, and it is Sunday, and sunny, and I LOVE sunny Sundays with that new week feel when everything is fun and hopeful. So go me! Go life! And all that.

Yesterday we went to see our son Michael and his very close friend Oliver in Stockbridge, about an hour's drive from here, but we also did errands and took the more scenic routes. In spite a shaky vehicle and icy rain stuffs falling from the sky, it was a fun day! It was great to see Michael and Oliver & their new place! We got to visit for a long time. We ate yummy pizza. They liked the care package I brought. :D

Alas, no pictures were taken at Michael and Ollie's but here are some shots from the week in whole.

From today's morning walk:
