I bristle when I see rows of white church members with beaming smiles on their faces proudly handing off baggies of slightly smooshed pbj to brown hands

Paparazzi taking shots for sharing on social media and in church bulletins to comfort the elders who have lived their whole lives without hunger

Trading any trace of shame for an ego boost
