Super Sunday

Today was an outdoor work day. The morning was off to a slow start when a shower stymied our morning walk. But, by lunch time things were a little dryer, and Diana got right to work. While she was putting away some gardens stuffs (and since we have a water feature this is a long, hard project), I organized and put away some of the tools we've been using lately. I know we are unlikely to need the chainsaw before next spring, and really I can't imagine using the angle grinder in the near future. I kept out the drill and our multi-tool thingy, which Snow will continue to use on the laundry room project, as well as an assortment of hand tools, blades, and the safety goggles, and these two boards that we use for support for various things, but I've also been using them for exercising.

I finished reading Outlive by Peter Attia. It was really good. The last chapter had me crying. I also gave the counters and the things on the counters and the kitchen sink all a good scrub. Then it was time for me to do some outdoor things. I helped Diana move the pawpaw trees and I got the pick axe out for Snow. Snow dug a hole for our beautiful Hakuro-Nishiki willow, and Diana got it planted. Diana cleaned up a bunch of stuffs for storage. I washed things and went in and out fetching as necessary.

Then, we went out and played Pokemon Go. Fun! Chili and Lost for dinner. Season 1 is almost done. I am having a lot of fun with this rewatch. Now, music! Music! Music!

Generally it was a busy day! Tonight daylight savings time ends for the season, and tomorrow we are having dinner with Jenny & Aaron at Texas Roadhouse.
