Heat Wave

I haven't felt like blogging this week because the heat and humidity have been high. This stresses my heart, and I only feel physically good if I am sitting on the sofa still under the fan.

In today's smoothie: Pacific Cooler Caprisun, tangerine, sugar snap peas, red grapes

Birds I heard while drinking smoothie outside: Black-capped chickadee, blue jay

Insects I saw while wandering around our yard: Ant, wasps, a gazillion mosquitoes

Song in my head when I woke up today: Hold Me Like a Grudge by Fall Out Boy

On the dinner plate: Beefy rice, peas, bread & butter
