Fall Color

Today is much warmer than it has been! I woke up to a temp of 67 degrees Fahrenheit in our kitchen. That is summer-like weather around here. I spent a longer-than-usual time outside with my smoothie enjoying the weather. There is a touch of red at the tips of some of the red maples and running through the sumac. The sugar maples and various cherries are all a decidedly yellow-brown color. The Virginia creeper festoons many trees with its rich shade of burgundy. All so pretty to look at!

Yesterday, I got down on the floor with no hands at least three times, and then today I did it again (although it seemed a little harder.) I've been doing my CARs practice at least 5 days a week, and I am liking it. I often add a few extra exercises to help me along, guided by my intuition.

Today Snow and I moved light bulbs around in anticipation of needing to repair or replace the primary bedroom ceiling fan. We also moved and cleaned up more from the tree felling. I'd like to see the last of the trunk sawed up sooner rather than later, but I'm not sure if Snow will want to do that without more bar & chain oil, and we're not getting that until Thursday.

Overall, I'm feeling good. I have these anxious periods, of that type that have been hitting me harder since moving through menopause and also working deliberately on unmasking. I am getting better at simply identifying them and moving on through them. They are certainly better than the debilitating depressions I use to sink into!

In today's smoothie: Water, tangerines, spinach, frozen berries (spinach smoothies taste so much better than kale, and I added a LOT of spinach)

Birds I heard while drinking my smoothie: None! (I did see a frog jumping all over though)

On the lunch plate: Tortilla rollups filled with leftover spaghetti sauce, cheese, & spinach; red pepper strips; rhubard-cheese danish that Diana made yesterday

In the drinking glass: Tap water

On the dinner plate: Fishsticks, mixed vegetables, french fries

On the listening machine: Lord of the Reedy River by Mary Hopkin

On the TV: Lost
