Almost Fall

Today is a day as they all are. The photo is one of my daughters 10 years ago today. She was always into doing gymnastics, and getting her photo taken! I love her so very much.

In nature-y news, a minky frog was back in our pond yesterday. New England aster along the road is in bloom.

Things I am looking forward to: Going on vacation! Soon I will be looking at the beautiful hills/mountains of the Appalachian foothills in extreme Southwestern NY and Northwestern PA. Pagan Pride!!! Dancing. I have really been loving dancing. Eating biscuits tonight!

Projects today: Made oatmeal raisin cookie bars, attempted to modify rainboots to fit me (I think it was a fail), later I plan on cleaning the coffeepot

Birds I heard while snacking outside: American goldfinch, white-breasted nuthatch (much alarm calling, sorry nuthatch, I needed to share the space)
