Yesterday we traveled in the rain to a nearby city for the library and the grocery store. It felt fun and adventurous, and I was happy. There was pizza for dinner.
Today has been going OK. I woke up wide awake about 30 minutes early and decided to get out of bed. I read a bit and then headed into the bedroom at 6:30 to prepare for our morning walk. It had been a rainy night, but there was a break in the rain just in time for us to have an unwet walk so that was nice.Today I have vacuumed our bedroom and done some online work, but I am holding off on the mowing because it continues to be super wet out. Snow says she will do it tomorrow if I don't, but my toes are tapping to get out there today.
We need some more drill bits and maybe some contact cleaner (for electrical contacts not eyeball contacts). Work on our home goes smoothly for the most part, but it is slow.
I am still watching What We Do in the Shadows with Diana, but that goes slow too during this busy summer weeks!
Coming up! Another trip to Green Lakes State Park. A trip to Fair Haven Beach State Park. A trip to the zoo. And so much more! I am glad to enjoy the summer warmth while I can. I hope to have a busy fall too. I'd love to get up to the Adirondacks and also to do the 5 mile hike all the way around Beaver Lake.
