Today, I had another cold morning's walk. Although the temps were quite warm yesterday, the arctic chill has returned. Luckily it is accompanied by sun, which is my favorite. Errands were OK yesterday. The warmth was nice. Signs of spring are multiplying. The daffodil sprouts are getting taller. Diana saw tulip and lily sprouts at our home. We enjoyed a pussywillow in bloom on our drive yesterday, and a cute wee song sparrow visited our birdfeeder this week.
Tonight the grandkids arrive for a 3-night stay. I hope we have plenty of fun and still get enough rest.
My plans for the next few days include continuing to do yard & wood work, cooking & baking, and letting my body get both plenty of down time & plenty of movement. Today I took back on Swedish lessons as a regular thing. I have little memory about how to form plurals, but my vocabulary and spelling is still spot on.
The thoughts in my head are disjointed and circuitous.
Song running through my head when I awoke this morning: Hi Ren by Ren
On the dinner plate: Italian crockpot chicken, oven-roasted parmesan potatoes, steamed broccoli
Outings I hope to take this week: Bev's Dairy Treats, Breitbeck Park, Teen Haven Playground
