When Will Winter End?

I'm nearly done reading Hell Bent by Leigh Bardugo, & I will be sad to finish it. I feel, after 50 years as a voracious reader, the really great books are few and far between There are so many quotes that I love from this book, but even more important, the story is so wonderfully crafted! And there is so much to think about.

The weather this past weekend was a huge dump of wet snow. So not my favorite! In better news, my two grandkids visited, and we played Apples to Apples, and we went out to wander in the blizzard, and we made a snowman. (OK, my help was minimal, but I was seriously exhausted and over-extended.)

What for the future? I don't know. I have been receiving messages all around me that maybe I should enjoy my comfort zone a wee bit more. Why do I push myself so hard? I am not sure, but my mother definitely had a drive for getting things done, and she also expressed a dissatisfaction with the amount of both play & rest in her life. Perhaps, I need to learn a lesson there. Also, I need to remember, that for me, play is most satisfying when it is not over planned.
