Spring, Spring, It Is Spring!

Yesterday afternoon, I spent time outside working on clearing the wood path and cutting up large fallen trees into pieces small enough to move. I worked outside until my toes were frozen. I also spent time looking up information about refugees in the 2010s, especially refugees from Pakistan and Afghanistan. After coming in the house, I noticed that I had an itchy rash. I hope it isn't poison ivy. It doesn't look quite like poison ivy. Likely it is just one of those contact rashes I get from touching basically any kind of plastic or vinyl or latex if I am sweaty or wet. I also played Happy Acres. That is the best way to calm myself and keep my heart from racing. (Until it isn't - because isn't that the way of everything? That is likely hyperbole though.)

Today, in spite of the icy cold temps, the birds seem extra active, with pretty fluffy titmice feasting on the lilac seeds. In not so great news, YNAB somehow had me unlogged in and made me change my password in a rather convoluted manner. I really don't want to spend extra time on my budgeting, and I have a paid account that is rather pricey. I was disappointed in this whole process that went down. I hope it doesn't become a regular event like some banks have. I don't have YNAB directly linked to anything - I wouldn't consider any of the info there particularly sensitive. I'd like a fairly straight forward login process. It is something I use every single day. I just had a thought that maybe they are trying to force signups to the app, but hopefully that is not the case. They didn't actually advertise the app to me so, "fingers crossed!" (PayPal on the other hand - they push their app so hard! Not good PayPal. Not good!!!)

Song playing in my head when I awoke: So Much (For) Stardust by Fall Out Boy

Chores I hope to do today: Vacuum living room, sweep kitchen

Hearing: The cardinal's call

On the lunch plate: Fishstick sandwich, corn, celery

On the dinner plate: We're going out for pizza!

Current weather: Sunny, sun, sunshine; cold cold cold!
