Today, I woke up with plantar fasciitis. Not the ankle overload pain that has been my bane for the last year or so, but more true plantar fasciitis stretching down my achilles tendon across the bottom of my foot. Fact, yesterday I way overloaded, but I am not sure how I could have avoided it. I definitely need to get stronger!!!
Today, I am going to a potluck at my sister's house. I got some chicken noodle casserole and peanut-butter swirled brownies ready to share. The casserole is in the oven, because I am going to transport it hot in an insulated bag.
I have been spending more time at duolingo keeping my French current and plodding my way through the Spanish lessons. In my head, I have embraced the idea of doing impossible things. Not truly impossible things, but things that at one point or another I've at least sort of perceived as impossible for me. One of these things is being able to understand a spoken foreign language. Maybe I'll conquer that impossibility in the future!
Here are some of the impossible things I've already conquered: walking backwards on the road somewhat regularly, jogging somewhat regularly, shaving my head, working my way up from 6 elevated pushups to 60 elevated pushups, buying and wearing clothes from the thrift store, & being part of buying property. There are likely more, but those are a lot.
Here are some of the impossible things I'd like to do in the future in addition to the foreign language thing: do a cartwheel, hang from my arms, master calculus, get rid of my trendelenburg gait, & so many more. I love doing new things.
